Kathryn de Carvalho

Kathryn provides administrative and project support to the Centre for Net Positive Health and Climate Solutions, led by Prof Tim Taylor. She graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Biosciences, and has completed a Masters in Sustainable Development with the University of Sussex. Kathryn has a background in international development and is interested in social justice, climate, and health.

Kathryn has worked in the sustainable development sector for over 8 years, working on impact, research and evaluations for a number of international NGOs. Her work has focused on understanding the experience of vulnerable and marginalised groups and addressing social inequalities, often touching on themes of sustainability, intersectionality and human rights. Kathryn has a keen interest in supporting research which contributes to socially just, healthy and sustainable futures.
