Dr Charlotte Featherstone

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Charlotte is a research fellow on the Cornwall Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC).

Her academic background is in health psychology and health services research and her PhD explored how social prescribing can be adapted to be more inclusive for autistic adults.

Charlotte has worked in the charity sector and NHS in clinical, research and policy roles in areas including autism research, respiratory health, pain management and dementia.

Her research interests include healthcare accessibility and inclusion, particularly regarding neurodivergence and disability, social determinants of health, nature-based approaches, and psychological mechanisms driving health-related behaviour and health service delivery.
