Julie Hollenbeck

PhD Student

Julie Hollenbeck was a PhD student at the ECEHH researching the role socio-cultural influences have on marine access and knowledge in two socially deprived communities.

Julie has a background in broadcasting and public engagement and is currently based in Miami, Florida, where she is conducting her study.

She is interested in working with visual mediums including video and photography. In 2010 she completed a Masters degree in Marine Affairs and Policy, during which she created several short films on various scientific topics.

Julie has now left the ECEHH but continues to be an honorary member.
