Dr Craig McDougall

Research Fellow

Craig is a research fellow on the UK Prevention Research Partnership (UKPRP) GroundsWell project. GroundsWell aims to drive community innovation applying systems science that maximise the contribution of urban green and blue space to the primary prevention of, and reduction of inequalities in, non communicable diseases in urban settings.

Since completing his PhD in Environmental Science at the University, Craig has worked on a number of research projects focused on the health and wellbeing impacts of contact with nature. He also works for the Scottish Collaboration for Public Health Research and Policy within the University of Edinburgh
