Professor Victoria Tischler

Victoria is Professor of Behavioural Science at the University of Surrey. She is a chartered psychologist whose research focusses on ageing, creativity and mental health.

Victoria’s research is interdisciplinary, usually involving collaboration with arts and humanities scholars, creative practitioners and clinicians. She uses mixed methodologies and is interested in novel methods, particularly those that are artistically driven. She has expertise in working with people who live with dementia. She is a member of INTERDEM– a European network of dementia researchers.

Victoria is Knowledge Base lead on an Innovation UK-funded Knowledge Transfer Partnership on olfactory function and older people (2023-2026). This is a collaboration between the University of Surrey, the University of Exeter and Givaudan UK. She was currently Principal Investigator on a UKRI-AHRC project: Culture Box  and was a co- investigator on The Pandemic and Beyond, and The Inclusivity Project. She worked at ECEHH from Feb. 2021-Jan. 2023.
