Ruth Gripper is a knowledge exchange officer for the Inclusivity Project.

She is responsible for local business engagement in the project, which focuses on inclusive workplaces.

Ruth supports innovation and development among Cornish SMEs by linking them with the university’s cutting edge research.

With a background in policy and stakeholder engagement across the public, private and voluntary sectors, she enjoys working across different sectors to deliver projects that have social, environmental and economic impact.

Before joining the University of Exeter in April 2019, Ruth was as a Senior Consultant at NPC, a charity consultancy and think tank. She worked with a wide range of charities and funders, of all shapes and sizes, helping them to understand and increase their impact.

Her previous experience includes work with rural community development charities in Cornwall and Norfolk, managing external affairs for a national health charity and as an MP’s parliamentary researcher.
