April is a PhD student investigating how non-antibiotic drugs in freshwater surface waters can select for antimicrobial resistance in complex bacterial communities.
She is based at European Centre’s laboratories at the University of Exeter Penryn Campus.
April graduated with a BSc in Biomedicine from Lancaster University in 2017, and completed an MSc in Microbiology at the University of Liverpool in 2019.
